I have been coaching tennis around South West London for the past 6 years after finishing my MSc in Sports Psychology. My experiences have led me to teach a range of levels, from tots classes, junior groups and adult one on ones. Whoever I teach I believe in delivering enjoyable and informative sessions, with an emphasis on technical improvements. Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
